In early June, the National Center for Safe Routes to School launched the updated online data collection and reporting system at www.saferoutesdata.org. The online system allows local SRTS programs to input student travel data collected using standardized Student Travel Tally and Parent Survey questionnaires and to generate summary reports of those data. The updated system was designed to improve user navigation and efficiency over the previous system. Features include: a more user-friendly interface; the ability to track local SRTS program and school information over time; the ability to more easily share information with stakeholders and people involved in your SRTS initiatives and redesigned Parent Survey and Student Travel Tally summary reports. For more information about the data system including how to access the questionnaires, please visit www.saferoutesinfo.org/data
